The sets that was making noise back then for the Bloods were the Inglewood Familes, Crenshaw Mafia Gangsters, Pirus and 62 Brims. For the Crips it's was the Hoovers, Rollin 60's, East Coast Crips and Kitchen Crips. About time I hit high-school in St.Louis in 88...it was on an poppin...

In the South, local gangs and the BGD organization hit areas in the South (Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, etc) way before Crips and Bloods. In the South in the 1990s the sports hat that represented the organization was the Georgetown Hoyas hat (tilted to the right), as in H.O.Y.A.

My dude Ali met him twice back at the house. Once in U City and the other time in NW Place. One time for the house #314. There is a difference between St Louis City and St Louis County. St Louis City has 280,000 now. St Louis County has almost 2 million people. STL used to be the fourth largest city in the US at one point. When I was growing it was about 400K plus people in the city alone.
