Part 9: • Ali: I F*** with Trump...
Part 11: • Ali on Becoming a Marr...
Part 1: • Ali on Gang Ties: I Wa...
--------
Ali reveals the financial struggles he faced as his Nelly delayed his payments for months. He claims the most he was owed at one point was between $70,000 to $90,000. The lack of payment forced him to question the company about his earnings. While the company intermittently gave him small checks, he claims it was not a sufficient resolution. This situation compelled him to think about an exit strategy from Nelly to ensure his family's financial stability. Ali also calls out Nelly for his lack of communication, arguing he would have made different decisions had he known about the delayed payments. Elsewhere in the interview, he discusses the challenges of group dynamics in the entertainment industry, highlighting how talented groups often break up due to outsiders influencing individual members, causing separation and strains in relationships.

At the very least, I now grasp the concept of leverage. Creating wealth and financial freedom isn't as tough as many people believe. Building wealth and remaining financially stable indefinitely is a lot easier with the appropriate information. Participating in financial programs and products is the only true approach to make a high income and remain affluent indefinitely.

@@JusBlackTV facts 😂. They’re right, he’s answering questions he’s being asked BUT literally every Ali interview is just him talking about Nelly 🤣. Ali is a rapper too, but nobody really asks him questions about his life, it’s always just him ranting about Nelly. The fact the interviews are never about himself just shows he hasn’t really accomplished much. Whenever Dame Dash is asked about Jay-Z, he always tells them “I don’t wanna talk about Jay”. Why doesn’t Ali say the same about Nelly? The reason is because then there wouldn’t be anything else to talk about 💀. Ali’s only (kinda) relevant because of Nelly, not the other way around

I've heard Nelly's side and, despite being interrupted plenty of times, it was sequential and coherent. Ali's story is littered with what sounds like jibberish: from the whole "three wishes" to having to take shits on the road to a bunch of other nonsense. There might be some intertwining truth between the two, but Nelly's story was tight, easy to follow, and it just made more sense. I've *NEVER* been a fan of Nel or his crew, so I haven't a dog in their fight. Just telling it how I heard it.

I am going to watch this...but it will be tough. I met these guys in 2000 at a Billboard music conference. I watched them go from no one knowing their names ...to being #1 on 106 & Park to killing MTV Award stages. They were so close.. and I always dreaded the day where their jouney came to an end. From what I remember, what I saw and what was told to me...Ali was the leader, served as a parental figure, their nutritionist..lol and visionary (in the beginning)....he was something like RZA. He wasnt perfect...but without his foresight and chess/strategic moves...this story plays out a lot different. He should have pivoted years ago...but he was loyal to a fault. I may not always like his responses now that they are on the outs...but he deserves his 🌹...

The nutritionist part isn't funny... I remember reading an interview from them, and they mentioned the vegetarian/pescatarian thing, only eating once a day, and working out... @@PancakeDiaries the lol was just me saying he was doing everything. Kyjuan actually influenced me to become a vegetarian… I gave up meat for a year … which helped with my digestive system… in 2000 not eating meat was the equivalent of being in a cult.. outside of Russell Simmons, being a vegetarian was weird.. I don’t even think there were vegetarian restaurants in Harlem. Ali was definitely ahead of his time and set the tone…

The real problem is people lacking integrity and respect. This is exactly why groups like Bone,The Wu, and The Lox can come back together. Even if they ever do have issues they don’t let it get in the way. People have to work with others that are willing and ready to he on the same page. Going solo should never cause a problems in a group but the only time it does is when you start letting people say to you that you don’t need your group.

The problem was that the Lunatics signed away 100% of their publishing on their 1st contract that Ali got them in. Nelly brought his publishing rights back, and Ali and the rest of them didn’t. Bro.. if the St. Lunatics were the Jackson 5.. Nelly was Michael Jackson! Period end of story! Now.. Ali has to understand that we all have seen the group and the inconvenient truth is that Ali had the least charisma in the group besides Kiwan. Nelly and Murphy were the stars of the group! Ali’s rap voice and style wasn’t special. He may have been the leader but his talents just didn’t resonate with the fans as much as Murphy Lee and Nelly! Those are the facts! I’m not saying that Nelly handled everything correctly but I believe that Ali has to accept the situation and move forward with his life in a positive direction and reinvent himself. He can never beat Nelly in the court of public opinion. I pray they all find peace and closure.
