Thanks again Bowen for this fun tutorial, love the older Stern machines, hope to see Flight 2000 next time, very cool game with lots of shots to make. And hope to see a bit more of these tutorials a bit quicker then the last one, it's been a while, I just like these videos, it's relaxing to see Bowen enjoying pinball as much as I do.

Glad to see that it's not just the one at my location where the upper drops have the annoying tendency to brick. It almost makes them not worth going for unless you've already got most of your GREATEST letters spelled and your bonus is near maxed (and even then, it's usually better to bank them off the lower drops like you demonstrated, since I've found that less forceful target hits are less likely to get bricked). Speaking of that lower drop bank, an error during your explanation: completing the bank awards the lit value PLUS the same value per lit letter, so with a full GREATEST it's actually worth _nine_ times the lit value, rather than the eight you thought it was (so, for example, when you hit it at 10K with a full GREATEST spelled out, it was worth a total of 90K, not 80K). So as it turns out, that bank is actually _more_ valuable than you gave it credit for.

that rightmost drop target was just doin the ol' rope-a-dope on you, clearly been curious about this game since seeing it in the latest stern pro circuit finals - thanks for the overview!

Loved this game. The one I played came with beautiful maroon bumper caps.

I had the same strategy as you. Hit the drop targets and then aim for the hole 🕳 one of my favorite pinball machines. 1. Harlem Globetrotters on Tour 2. Xenon 3. Playboy (1978) 4. Gorgar 5. Ali 6. Flash 7. Nitro Ground Shaker 8. 🎱 Ball Deluxe 9. Meteor 10. Silverball Mania

I love ❤️ this pinball machine besides Harlem Globetrotters! I’m looking for one or I’m going to build a virtual pinball machine with lots of pinball machines in it

Can't tell if this table is easy or Bowen just makes it look easy

slowbar1 it’s a tough game and Bowen is definitely making it look easy.

Ali is definitely a boom-or-bust type game - you can absolutely light it up, or you can get house ball after house ball. It all depends on how the machine is feeling.

At the end he mentioned re-release by Stern, if they do, Stern needs some type of mode where it brings back the old sounds of the original adding up the score. Kinda like they did with the black knight, I think?...

Was he being hopeful or is this in the works? I'd love to own an Ali.

Maybe? Beatles was just Seawitch but I did hear Stern was going to start reusing some of the Classic Stern layouts. I mean, nobody owns the rights to them anymore as far as I’m aware so they are able to do that. Plus it was sorta there company they’d be copying. Granted Stern Electronics went through many changes (and bankruptcies) before eventually getting bought and turned into the Stern we know today.
