@@prachithebest09 It's a saying (proverb, लोकोक्ति)and not a phrase, in first place, because it is complete in itself. If you're a language enthusiast you must be aware of the difference. Proverbs depict local culture or people of a place. It is likely that a proverb is said by a local deweller first. So, one would never know as to who coined a particular proverb. It percolates through generations, through verbal or written communication medium. Second, I have clearly heard what Mr. Grover said in the video, but still thanks for reiterating. My comment was for the ones who might want to find out about the first traces of the saying, and as per my findings Mr. Asghar Wajahat is the first one to make literary use of it. Don't know who used it for the first time in general. That's next to impossible, I believe.
