Back in the olden days, when I used to like a song, I used to record it on one side of a 90 mins cassette so that it auto repeats till about 45 minutes. I would bring that song in every discussion (even if the discussion was not music related). You make me want to stop strangers on the street and play your songs for them. This one is no different. I wish the sarangi in the first half of the song was more prominent. Mad kudos to the Harmonium though. I love how It plays with the tune while playing to the tune. It doesn’t sound like a loop - where did you record it? I like the psychedelic vibe of the song. You made us dance on the streets with ‘kab tak dil ki khair’ and you are going to make us dance on dance floors with this. What a fantastic tribute to the era gone by. Thank you for keeping these gems alive and relevant. I love the composition, as a dear dear dear known someone said ‘this has a new kind of old vibe’. If you were a place, your tagline would be ‘where ghazals come to play’. Ghazals and music owe you a lot and you are worth it. A hit that went straight to the senses. Thank you for that.
