@@ElBasureroDeDerek spot on. Roger craig smith is a good voice actor and he’s great at his job, it’s just that sonic himself is so corny now. I think there’s still potential with a more comedic sonic, but now it’s just overly saturated comedy and a desperate attempt to look cool. Imagine this world literally being your world, and all you are is cringe. Don’t get me wrong, you’re still the hero, like the song says, this is your world/“his world”, and everything still goes in your favor, but you’re still cringe. That just means that you live in a world made of cringe comedy where people desire cringe comedy, either that or they cringe at your terrible comedic puns along with you, but they settle for you as their hero because you have immense plot armor and are destined to be victorious. Edit: like you said regardless of all that I still think Sonic Forces had ambition, and I greatly enjoy the direction Sonic’s heading in, especially with the IDW Comics.
