Ahead of her new Netflix release, 'Darlings' - an ironic look at domestic violence within marriage- she speaks to Barkha Dutt about what marriage means to her, casual sexism and how she has dealt with it and why she once responded to a news story by saying- "I am a woman; not a parcel."

Alia has worked hard to where she is today. She has not taken her privileges for granted. What we see is the glamour. At the end they too have their ups and down. I admire Alia for her acting and not because she is a Bhatt which is irrelevant.
