That's a really important point for me as well. The possibilities are endless, but we ought to start taking some steps towards some direction if we want to get value from it. To make things tangible, instead of a mere illusion. For me the step is to write a response, instead of passively lurking. Every hustle entails making some active effort, an additional effort, so, if we could start by making an additional effort with everything that we do and that we learn to gain a positive outcome, that's a good start

40 is not too late to start. My science career didn't start paying me a significant salary until I was in my late 30s. Until then I was getting $30k/yr. I took the advise of my guide who i mirror her model then it rocketed up to $100k/yr in my 40s. I started saving $1600 per month into my 401k. The trick to saving is to NOT grow your lifestyle to match your salary. I retired early in my mid 50s with close to a $2M net worth and over $1M invested. For safety, I did not dip into retirement savings and allowed it to continue to grow as I approached 60.

This is a valid point: without fun and flexibility, a side hustle would be a second boring job, that takes away from my life, rather than enriches it. I am a lawyer here in Brazil, and I am extremely frustrated with the practice of the profession in my day-to-day life. I have a mindset that sets me apart in the legal field; I seek innovation, I seek productivity, and I also value my well-being. I believe that this mindset of mine, which has been my advantage in the legal field, will eventually lead me to leave the legal profession so that I can earn what I truly bring as value.

The two things I took away from this: 1: Being a writer online and writing about your interests could actually be a potential source of income (for some reason this never occurred to me) so now I'm going to research this in more detail 2: Web design is still a valid side hustle! I'm going to make it my mission to get good at this, from the basics.

Great video Ali 🚀 Definitely agree that content creation is a J curve. Effort does not equal reward at the start. Most people want instant gratification and don't have the patience to wait. That's why I feel you really need to be somewhat passionate about your particular content niche otherwise the temptation to walk away will be too high.

My biggest takeaway is that I thought all of these were such competitive hustles but then I realized… there’s a ton of people pitching in the market, but not a lot of high-quality competitors. If you can put in the time to really bring something wonderful to the table, you’ll find people who are happy to do business with you

First of all, I am a student graduating soon and have been feeling lost as to what direction I should go as this chapter of my life closes, and finding your channel today has already sparked so much motivation and inspiration for my future, so for that I just want to say thank you! To limit this comment to just one takeaway is difficult but one idea that has been consistently highlighted for me recently is the idea that if you dedicate the time into developing a skill, it will reap benefits which has always felt daunting as I struggled to find something I felt intrinsically motivated enough to stick to; however, this video has shown me that if I just start and take consistent(even if small) efforts towards one of these endeavors it will pay off. My next step moving forward is going to be to research more deeply the ideas mentioned that peaked my interest!

My takeaway was that there are so many sidehustle opportunities out there. I never even thought of thumbnail design before as a job. It's very cool how you can be self-taught these days and find opportunities like that, but I'm glad you emphasised that it takes a lot of work to earn a decent amount of money. Great video as always

I always try to find ways to make money so quickly. One thing I took away from this video is that it's important to take time to teach yourself a valuable skill and really be good at it. And also keep pushing even when you're in that negative zone because once you get past that, you are only going up! Be patient and do not give up! Thank you, Ali!

I did not believe that after the whole FTX drama there's any good to get this year but *DaleValskov* proved otherwise. Bad timing maybe but it's a great adoption to get this more to the mainstream and raise awareness. Probably a high contender for a top 100 growth
My account also got hacked and I followed the method as explained in this video but I'm unable to proceed after recording the selfie video. Thank you Dale Valskov . I'm really happy seeing his name everywhere in the comment. It really says a lot about his good work.

What I took away from this video is that: yes, it would have been great if I'd also started my 'side-hustle' journey as a teenager, but I didn't, and so, the best time to start is obviously NOW. Not tomorrow, not next year - right now. Just do the thing! You never know where it's going to lead. Thank you again, Ali. You always provide such valuable advice and insight. You could be hoarding all this hard-earned knowledge for yourself, but instead, you choose to share it. I look forward to the day that my cold email lands up in your inbox 😊

Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

Such market uncertainties are the reason I don’t base my market judgements and decisions on rumours and here-says, got the best of me 2020 and had me holding worthless position in the market, I had to revamp my entire portfolio through the aid of an advisor, before I started seeing any significant results happens in my portfolio, been using the same advisor and I’ve scaled up 750k within 2 years.

I personally liked your philosophy on side hustles, where it's not being ungrateful but the freedom that comes with it. My main takeaway to starting side hustles is deciding which business type (J-curve /not) we are comfortable with, and then working hard on improving a skill of interest before monetising it. The biggest take away from this video is a no-brainer. "The only way to make money is to provide value to people who can pay for that value." I live in a small town and I realized that many of our local businesses have horrible websites or none at all. I don't know how to code but after hearing you mention #6 - web design, I'm strongly considering it. I've been deterred by the up-hill slog of learning to code which detracts from the "fun" aspect of a side hustle. This has been the primary barrier to entry thus far. After this podcast I must make a decision, spend 6 months honing the craft of web design or figure out something of value that is more fun to create. I love the quality of this video. It made 25 minutes seem more like 12, lol.

What I took away from this video was, whatever job/side hustle I decide to do, I need time, dedication and patience. All those stories have hugely inspired me. You talked about writing and coding. Those are literally the skills that I am trying to teach myself but still hitting the blockbuster of my own laziness. What I have taken as food for thought is 1) The law of making money. highlighting Delight as a keyword. 2) Effort so as to receive the succulent pay, for there is no quick way of making money without investing in the effort and time. Thank you Ali

Your video came in at the right time thank you so much for this video Ali.
