How heart warming that an atheist and a christian can come together for the cause of rock and roll.

Thanks Peter, I went to 2 Alice Cooper concerts in Rochester NY - I think the tickets for the show then in 71 and 72 were $ 6.00 dollars.. Amazing, (No pun intended) just now finding out that James Randi played those characters on stage

My favorite Cooper album, just pulled it out and listen to it on my vintage "stuff" - - Marantz 2265B Receiver, JBL L100 Speakers, B.I.C Turntable and it sounds as great as it did in 1973 I was 15 then ! : )

Billion Dollar Babies is the best 70's AC album, with the title track being my all time fave AC song. I would say his best 80's album is definitely "special forces". hard new wave rock brilliance

I love how AC isn't the main focus here and that Randi is just as much the attraction. I'm also amazed about how many AC fans haven't yet heard the chicken story. 🤣

I my word. I so loved going to the weird exhibits too. In Niagara. When we were just kids. My sister and I would always hang around this one mummy. It wasn't covered. But we wouldn't touch it.

In the early '70's there indeed were the carnivals that had the one or two creepy exhibits that would leave a lasting impression. One that stands out for me was a long haired guy that looked like Alice who was in a glass cage with a large snake. He was supposedly a spaced out, brain damaged drug addict who believed that the spirit of his dead friend (who over dosed) was in the snake. The whole interior of the structure was creepy and sickening with a sign on the cage 'Please do not speak to student'.

But then Alice Cooper is no ordinary Christian... :-)

Alice as a Christian? In what book of the bible said it's OK to fuck the dead. Alice has three songs devoted to necrophiliac. I've seen your stupid show. BULLSHIT

Here's the thing about that: 1.) He wasn't a practicing B.A.C. when the songs were written/popular. 2.) It's an ACT! Like an actor on a stage. 3.) The song(s) he performs onstage FITS with the overall stage show/theme of the show. 4. ) Alice on the stage and "Alice" at home ARE two different people. Don't believe me, check out his interviews/interviews from people who ACTUALLY KNOW the man. F'ING troll!
