I won't tickets on the radio too meet him backstage in 2009. Fantastic show and he's still rocking it. Caught me off guard how short he is in real life, but he's genuinely nice guy. I know they say never meet your heroes, but Alice did not disappoint and is as genuine as you can get. The fact he even took the time to meet with us, however short it may have been, meant the work to both me and my mother. She grew up with his music and I have a huge respect for what he contributed to rock and roll history as a musician myself. His persona and music is a major influence to many and I can't help but have fun everything I play one of his tunes. He will go down as an absolute legend in my book, along with many of the great musicians he's had by his side over the years. Dennis Dunaway is one of the most underrated bass players of all time in my opinion.

Yeah man, I saw him around Christmas, 1973 at Crisler Arena, Ann Arbor Michigan. It was the original band!

Seen Super Cooper in concert several times. I had a Watch Commander once with the last name Smedley. I use to call him Rev. He was a cool cat. He told me the story of when he was a rookie and was called to the crime scene of Marvin Gaye. Learned alot from that man. Excellent dude.

Saw him do this in Pittsburgh on the Billion Dollar Babies Tour in the mid 70's. 73 I believe. Yea, I'm old. Not to old to play and work though. Inspirations like this man, Sammy Hagar and many others still rockin keep me going.

Got to see Alice in the mid 70's. we went in costume and full face paint, Alice put on a Big Show. School was out.....Forever!

I saw him about 50 years earlier with the original band, on the Billion Dollar Babies/Muscle of Love tour, in Dec. of '73, with an unknown little ole band from Texas, ZZTop as the opener!
