I remember watching it at the time. It was a week before he appeared at the Sydney Showground. He definitely got the time the show started wrong. People backstage were trying to talk to him, and he kept saying that he had to get ready for the show, not realising that it was already on. There was going to be another tour of Australia the following year, but he then decided not to do it, then later went into rehab.

Only interview/TV appearance more cringe-worthy is with Tom Snyder circa '81. Vince looked absolutely horrible. Bad make-up. Eyes glazed and just sad all around. This video is painful as well.
