Alice Cooper is awesome and such a nice guy and the greatest of all-time. The only thing I can't stand about these (though Alice always tells the stories with passion) is the fans asking the same tired questions all over again. Alice has answered this stuff a ton of times. Everyone knows about the chicken story if you are even an casual fan, the Elvis story, etc., the Wayne's World story, etc. I love when he is actually asked different questions.

I have an interview I taped from the UK Steve Wright show in 1995 and Steve asked Meatloaf if he had any tattoos. Meat said "No, I won't have any". Steve said "We are gonna put a gun to your head and say you have to have a tattoo". Meat said "Shoot me".

In my mind, Alice Cooper was the OG metal like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath from the 70s. Then he mentioned G&R opening for him in '84. I always think of G&R as the newish metal after OZZY, Priest, Maiden. G&R's been around 37 years now and almost as long as all the mega metal bands. Wow, mind blown and I feel old now.

All the early spiders guys were track team guys except for john Speer and Glen Buxton 🏈 I think the Alice Cooper band no matter what period are a true jock rock band and most high school garage bands usually are and art students seems to be .

I t seems it has been forgotten that when he first started out it was the band that was called The Alice Cooper Band, he was NOT in those days known as Alice, it was the name of the band NOT the person.
