It's a real shame that the OVA never got the attention it deserved But also a blessing. If it did get the attention and became a popular anime ova, then Alice in Borderland's LA would've never survived the "tHe AnImE wAs BeTtEr" comments from idiots that do that on auto as soon as they see the words "live action adaptation" appear. Season 1 would've been sabotaged and boycott. Even if it was the èxact same as we know it on Netflix. People destroy a lot just so they can be part of something. This really highlights that.

Yes, the actual story is based off a shōnen manga having the same name with the live action serie. The manga was finished in 2016 i dont remember who wrote it tho
