I just want to say, that Sean Kinney is the fuckin' best drummer i've ever seen! His style, power and moves.... He doesen't play fast or the best in the world, but his groove, unconvencional feel of beat makes it so amazing. He is my idol for years. Hell yeah for Sean!!

OMG, Mike Inez's eyes water up when he talks about Black gives way to blue.... It was hard for him to even pronounce his name - our beloved Layne.

Sean is great drummer, the best among many more famous and legendary in my opinion, because he gives what's required for the song, that becomes the greatest gift to a band..

At 17, I had the luck and pleasure of being taken backstage at Lollapalooza in '94 when AIC played and hung out in the bands dressing room (didn't meet Layne, tho). I spent most of the time talking to Mike. He's as genuine as he seems. They and their crew were all very cool.

It seems like Sean has been so badly affected by Layne's death he has become very serious and barely even cracks a smile. I think it's still playing on his mind.

I think they did the band good by picking DuVall. I mean, he's most definitely not Layne Staley, their vocals are different, but the dude can sing, and it's a fresh new sound in a familiar sonic landscape. Besides, he's relatively young, he can get the younger crowds to listen to some good music, from a marketing POV. I love their new album and I can't wait to listen to a new record from these guys. Layne would've been proud.

Still don't see AIC as a "metal" band. They're uncategorizable, unique, their own sound. Love Sean & Mikey. Such an integral part of their sound, and the band in general. All such great guys, not a bad one in the bunch!

Yeah, towards the end. Lots of camera flashes. I wonder if he was doing a photo shoot on the other side of the room.

The band's steps (in regards to moving forward) were 'well thought out.' However, the interviewer's questions were not well thought out.

New singer SUCKS. He's like Lenny Kravitz impersonating Layne Staley
