LOL, I totally did this the wrong way! I was all proud of myself for "escaping the maze" so quickly, but didn't see the "Queen of Hearts" sign and just left. I didn't realize there was a whole extra section, or that you could actually visit the castle (I thought it might have just been a facade or a break-room). Oh well, it doesn't look like I missed too much except for a bit of a neat, unique view (not a lot of ways to see all the large ride buildings from afar like that).

Wow. At 7:57 you can see the mechanics that make the Queen of Hearts pop up and down and the fact that it's not a entire figure. That's a BIG No No for Disney in my opinion. Other than that it looks ok.

James F That seems to be an issue in several of the attractions at Disneyland Paris I've seen, sometimes things just don't feel very genuine or you can even see the mechanisms. It's still nice, but it just doesn't feel as polished and fully immersive and mind-blowingly magical as the original Disneyland or WDW, IMO.

It could be much more magical with dark parts and black light or good animatronics. Discover is a good idea but not in that way. I like more darkrides

Guys why so much negativity? Yes it could be fixed but it's GREAT! I love Disneyland of California and this and I want to go to both equally and I prefer this 'ride' over LA's one,

Ok so i really liked the idea of the maze and walking through it and exploring, just like Alice does in the movie, BUT (and that's a big but) there are so many things that just do not look good, as if nobody wants to take care of them. some of the bushes are withered not fresh green like they should be, I can see a lot of dirty little places, I do remember that song goes "Painting the Roses RED" and not beige. It looks old like no one has touched it since the 90's. The castle's colors do not look good to say the least. And just look at the stairs at 9:36, that's disgusting. I know for a fact that WDW in Florida and Disney Land California would have never allow such thing.

Tommynka I noticed this lack of attention to making it all look good as soon as I saw the Cheshire Cat flower arrangement at 1:13. The colours just look all wrong.

Ya in some places it looks more like a typical amusement park instead of Disney. I really don't like the way the stone is painted. It looks so cheap.

I get very cheap vibes from DL Paris. It looks more like a knock off Disney park than an official one imo. I don't get why people think it's the best looking park compared to Disneyland and WDW.

Disneyland Paris is probably the most expensive park to build in 1995 they had a budget of 1 billion euro and they spent 5 billion. After opening it was a flop and they lost a lot of money, they didn't invest rides and refurbishments until 2017 (this video is taken before 2017) so that's why you probably think that it looks cheap i guess
