Apparently a young girl, about 18, auditioned for Alice but didn't get the part, but Tim burton saw that she has a pretty good rep in school as a composer. So she got to work on this with Danny elf man and all the composers at just 18!! How cool is that! Great song, love it!

When I was a freshman, our choir went on a field trip to disney world and it was pretty fun. The bass part can be a tad underwhelming at times, though, in my opinion. I was also one of two basses that year, so that was pretty fun, I guess, being relatively inexperienced.

I surre hope Danny Elfman will never be recognized as one of the great composers of the last 100 years, because he sure has earned it. The man has a style all his own that truly blends pop and chamber in a way that has not been done since Frank Zappa.

Pleasantly surprised in watching this film the first time. I prefer this version. A little darker, with really ferocious creatures, but knowing still keep the side of film for children. I also prefer this version of Alice. Capable of defending herself, fighting in armor with a sword, leading an army and fighting a dragon. For me, the best version of Alice in Wonderland.

Between clarinet 1 and clarinet 3, it's very challenging, you can hear it between in the song. clarinet one is the lead, then 3 finishes it's note - (ALSO! it plays along with the lower sound instruments like a cello) At first it's tricky to learn but practice makes perfect. We worked 2 months on it. 2 hours every day for practice.
