Hi everyone^___^ I hope your day is magical and amazing! This Disney Princess edit was SO MUCH FUN to draw! In part 1 of the magical mermaid story, Rapunzel is leading an attempt to combine her magic with Mulan and Elsa, while Moana and Ariel practices their powers together. Today, you see the other half of the mermaid scene with Tiana, Belle, Snow White, Cinderella and Anna this time^^
I decided to design a mermaid glow up for each of the disney princesses and I had to learn how to draw a lot of the jewelry and clothes on the go haha :) Tiana is a voodoo queen, because I imagine she got inspired by Dr facilier, while Anna has love powers, cinderella was gifted fairy godmother's wand and Snow white uses her singing magic to attract all the animals under the sea, while Belle's magic revolves around roses, just like the magic in beauty and the beast^___^
Anna is of course a queen now after Frozen 2, so she wears her crown :)
I think its so much fun bringing the Disney movies together like this^^
What do you think of this? Do you have more ideas for this story or another Disney Princess adventure?
I love love the little mermaid movie and the song Part Of Your World, especially because she is from a Danish fairytale (my country) by H C Andersen and I love the underwater world Atlantica Disney has created for Ariel :D
I dont know whether I will like the new The Little Mermaid 2023, because I generally prefer the original cartoons to most of Disney's live action movies. Based on the little mermaid trailer, the mermaid effects, like the tail moving in the water, seem to be well-made and I appreciate that^^ Im definitely gonna watch it.

Hi^___^ I have gotten a few questions about Tiana's makeup and look, so I'll explain a bit: Tiana's makeup, jewelry and powers are heavily inspired by the real life New Orleans Voodoo queens and voodoo kings of the past, like Marie Laveau, and then I put my own mermaid twist on it^___^ I'm not a voodoo expert at all, but had a lot of fun reading and learning about it :) I know the obvious route would have been to turn Tiana into a frog / water lily inspired mermaid, but I fell in love with the idea that Tiana learned voodoo, turning something previously scary and traumatic into her strength! Voodoo is not evil in itself. Dr. Facilier just used it for evil purposes. I kept her makeup in simple shapes, like how real life voodoo practitioners seem to do it :) So yeah, that's how Tiana as a voodoo queen mermaid in Atlantica came about :)

Hi Sodap💖p^^ Thank you very much 🥰 that's so kind of you. How I do it? Most of it is learned by experimenting in Photoshop, lots of trial and error^^ I watch a lot of Disney movies as inspiration and spend a long time planning each edit, so when I open up Photoshop I have all the Disney screenshots ready and then I mix them and try to align colors and draw on top with the brush tool^___^

Hi^^ thank you very much 😊 yeah I do: Get a pen tablet instead of a mouse and use the software Adobe Photoshop (any version, old and new is fine) And then start off by learning to use the brush tool and clipping masks. They are the functions I use 80% of the time^___^ Oh and make sure that the images you want to mash up have the same angles, that the bodies and heads etc are turned the same way, if that makes sense. It's easy to adjust colors, but it takes a lot of work to correct angles that don't fit together :) And then just have fun in Photoshop. Experiment with all the tools and don't be afraid to try out stuff. You can always use the eraser or undo button and try again ^^

Hi Sophia^___^ I try to show as much as possible in my videos, but I tend to do so many details, I have to timejump a lot of steps 😅 I use Adobe photoshop on my computer with a wacom tablet instead of a mouse and just really experiment in the program. lots of trial and error, testing out the tools and drawing erasing and drawing again until it looks right^^
