My point was just to make sure that ppl start seeing Africa 1st of all as a CONTINENT(not a country just as many think)! 2ndly each country in Africa has its reality(filled with social issues like EXTREME poverty, violence and stuff) just as any other country around the world! Just that here in Africa we encounter a lot of difficulty to solve our problems by OURSELVES!!!

@queenroxy93 Alicia never said EVERYONE in Africa isn't capable of affording things or has to live under certain conditions. But a lot fo people who have AIDS cannot afford it in Africa. Sure they are a lot of people in Amercia with it but they have easier access to it than in Africa. There's tons of organizations for people in America and Alicia's is one of the rare ones that actually give toward Africa a lot and you can see the results instead of not seing how you are helping tons of people.
