She is the example of a very very healthy vegan. People who have grown up with a certain type of diet their entire lives, this would be a total shock. Sometimes it’s better to start out slowly. Such as swap out cows milk for almond, oats, or rice milk. Milk is actually really good and it makes wonderful lattes and stuff like that. Good for baking too. Maybe go to nights a week were you have a vegan/vegetarian fiend dinner or the entire day Is vegan/vegetarian versus filled with meat and dairy products. Buy a package of veggie burgers and some choa or follow your heart cheese. Delicious stuff. people cant tell the difference when I feed it to them Nobody has to go extreme like her overnight. But you do find as your body adapts, your taste buds adapt, you see that anything you love that’s filled with meat and dairy products can be re-created

Jess B. I don’t have to try it to know it’s not going to taste good. I hate vegetables but respect vegans so much! I am too weak to be a vegan. I have an eating disorder because I lived poor with my mum who didn’t work and we didn’t have a lot to eat at home, certainly not healthy food because it costs more. I grew up on fast food, basically and hated vegetables since little! My mum likes vegetables though she tried to make me love it as well but she failed. I just hate the taste of it and I feel the need to vomit. So I stopped forcing myself and I came to terms with my diet... I’ll eat whatever I want and whatever I like. That’s the only way for me to feel good (trust me, I tried it!). So yeah I know for a fact I would hate the taste of kale. Any kind of it.
@j.b.45496 жыл бұрын
@@samantarizzi248 Sorry to hear that but in fact rice, potatoes, beans, peas, lentils and veggies are the cheapest food items you can buy so why not try to eat this? Mix more of those foods into your daily eating habits. You know why meat is so cheap? Because the Government is giving the animal farmers money so the can produce ever cheaper meat. If you like fries cool than try making them on your own without the shitty fat! Its not so difficult. I wish you all the best.
@samantarizzi2486 жыл бұрын
@@j.b.4549 Yeah I do like potatos, and onions IF they're cooked on butter or any kind of vegetable oil, onions get soft and more tasty (in my opinion)! Beans I like too. So I do like SOME of the vegetables, not all of them. Maybe 1% of all vegetables, lol. But it's not enough for me to go fully vegan. I'll get sick, like I did many times before when I wanted to go AT LEAST vegetarian for the animals. I can't help but fail. I grew up on sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, potatos, chicken, eggs, and dairy, some fruit, but that's it. I do try to eat twice as much fruits than I did when I was still a child, so technically I AM eating healthier. Of course my diet would be unhealthy for some people, but comparing it to when I was 8 or 9 it's definitely better! But strawberries are more expensive than chicken (edit: just for example), sorry but it's the truth. At least here in Slovenia!
