Thank you for letting the girls try different foods. I did the same with my daughter, if she didn’t like it that was ok…almost 40 years later…she will try anything and likes almost everything….except liver….😂. As she got older I would reintroduce foods that she didn’t like….most of the time she liked them. I wish you all the best…..😊

Their bread isn't the monkey bread I've made in the past - ours is sticky with lots of cinammon, and you pull it apart. Theirs looks more like the Polish babka we have in our area of Massachusetts, that we spread with butter (which is carved into the shape of a lamb for Easter). I found a recipe on-line for one with raisins & walnuts that looks like our babka; the recipe was credited to a St. Casimir Parish, Riverside, New Jersey cookbook. Whatever it's called, it looks yummy to me!

Morning joy with the girls and their monkey bread...it brought to mind the childrens' song from when my granddaughter and Grandson were little. I would stand and hold their hands while they jumped on the bed and we sang "10 little monkeys jumpin' on the bed, one fell off and bumped his head, Mama called the Dr and the Dr said, No more monkeys jumpin' on the bed!" It's one of the many delightful memories I have of our time together. Anastasia and Guinevere are growing so quickly. I went back and watched some of their first videos on KZbin and it reminded me how quickly time passes. Grandparents, if you are fortunate enough to live close to the Grands to see them regularly , please take advantage of that. There are so many Grandparents who only get to see their Grands once or twice a year. They truly grow up so fast and the years seem to go faster as we age. Thank you Alicia and Walt for your dedication to bring us this delight every day. 🥰
