The hold this song has over me. I’ve been struggling with severe depression among other things for many years now. I remember listening to this two years ago, painfully numb and thinking I wasn’t going to be alive much longer. But here I am nearly in 2023. I’m feeling less numb nowadays although the depression and anxiety still haunts me everyday. Maybe one day I’ll be free.
