Now he's got a burgeoning crush on his first friend, has a girl crushing on him with no sense of boundaries, who knows how many rumors kicking up about him, and now Jiji comes into the picture. All of this is relatively new and foreign to him, so of course the former loner is going to death spiral just from the discomfort of it all

It'd probably bump the episode count to 17 or so rather than 12. I still have to disagree with the idea that there are no good stopping with Dandadan, there are several arcs wherein the ending is conclusive enough to satisfy the main story beats presented, regardless of the ones being seeded

First of all i hope you get better of your sickness. Something that i noticed watching this episode is that Jiji and Aira work not only as love rivals but like antithesis to Okarun and Momo. Okarun has no confidence, bad physical condition and loner. Jiji is a very charming guy, overconfident and makes friends easily. I think what makes Okarun better for Momo is that he actually listen to her and relies on her. Jiji is a good guy but man he really try to pull that prince charming act and fcks things up.

Idk about the whole Prince Charming act, since I can’t say flirting with everyone is a “Prince Charming” by any stretch of the imagination. They get along as close friends, since they’re both equally wacky. But I think Okarun fits better cuz he listens to her more and is more gentle in contrast to her brash personality.
