I do understand that Ali is trying to prove his point and it is rly utterly disgusting that people just pick a sentence out of an aya like there is no context. Allah told us in that very sura with the example of muhammad, that we should turn to our fellow muslims and teach them what we know, educate them before you try to educate any kafir who doesn't WANT to listen. By doing so our ummah will transform. Muslims would start to really see our prophet (saw) as a rolemodel in behaviour. If it doesn't and just says 'Kill The Unbeliever' This then is the problum, It is wide open to Interpretation, Ali then is guilty of misinterpretation although trying to limit the meaning of it as Radicals are using it as a justification for them to hold a Koran in one hand and a Sword in the other and claim they have the right to commit these acts. If I'm right then we will forever see problums stemming of broad verses like these and until 'peaceful muslums' acknowledge this and try to address the issue, peace in the Muslim World or Worldwide will never prevail.
