May Allah make it easy for you. You're not alone in having struggled with keeping the prayer time. Just remember, if you walk towards Allah, He will run towards you. Take heart, akhi, and do not let any evil - whether it is a person, a shaitaan, or even your own thoughts - stop you from standing humbly before your Lord, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful in salat. Even missed salat can be made up, and inshallah our generous God will accept them from you. But no one can help us if we die with half-done prayers, and Allah asks us why we turned away from Him and His blessings. May Allah help us improve every day.

@@MassDefeq In Islam we have two things:- 1. Actions are governed by intention. Whatever a man does, Allah will judge him by his intention, in his heart, and nobody can hide that from Allah. 2. There is "riyaa", show off. That is doing good things not sincerely for Allah's but for others to see and approve. This is forbidden. So voluntary worship acts (nawafil) for example should be done with secrecy, like qiyamul lail, fasting, etc. One should hide these things the best he can. However there are mandatory acts like Ramadan fasting, five daily prayers etc, there is no need to hide them, one cannot even hide them. We pray in congregation in the Mosques, we break our fast with others in the nieboughood etc. Here he said he feels kind of reluctant or shy to pray where others could see him, so he prays in the car. So i told him as long as he can stand he shouldn't pray sitting down, he should find a less busy place not to infringe on others and pray, it is one of the 5 daily prayers.

9:55 - When salah (prayer) was given/prescribed during Prophet Muhammad's (saws) Miraj (travel from Makkah to Jerusalem to Heaven), there would be 50 prayers a day - Prophet Muhammad (saws) upon leaving was advised by Prophet Moses (saws) to ask Allah (J.Sh.) to lower it since 50 would be too much for the Ummah (collective muslim community) to bear. This was repeated several times until the number of salah (prayer) was lowered to only five.

Remember when Patrick Bet-David once mentioned in a podcast that Christians are losing to Muslims because we pray five times a day, and our mosques and masjids are always full? He pointed out that they need to step it up a little bit. But what are they going to do-pray six times a day? Not only do we pray five times a day, but we’re literally praying with every breath. We have a prayer for every single moment throughout our day. We have our supplications when wake up, we have our morning supplications, evening supplications, and supplications before sleeping. We say prayers when we enter and leave the bathroom, when we're getting dressed, before and after eating, when enetring and leaving the house, when entering the car, when entering any building. And there are specific prayers for different places, such as the supermarket, workplace or school, mosque, people’s homes, and even hospitals. And that’s just the beginning-there are way more prayers and acts of remembrance that I haven’t even mentioned. From prayers for travel to prayers for special occasions, for moments of joy, and for times of hardship. There’s a prayer for practically everything. We are constantly connected to Allah (God in arabic), and there’s literally no way to beat a Muslim in terms of keeping that connection strong and constant throughout the day.

In Indonesia, locating a place to pray is effortless; you can find prayer facilities in virtually every mall, park, school, and office building. Even on the street, mosques are plentiful.
