I missed your Fridays videos! Your journey through your yard reminds me that I must see beauty in my day to day yard things and not just the blooming. 🖤

Ali - this garden journal is just wonderful. I love the photos and every bit of the embellishments, etc. What a fun way to keep track of the beauty in your yard!

I love this book you've created. This would be perfect for someone who loves their yard and spends lots of time taking care of it. From what the pictures are showing, your yard is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing.❤

I do a monthly TN memory and listing project and bits about my garden find their way in there from time to time but I like the idea of doing a spread intentionally each month. There's always something that you add or that flowers or surprises you

What a wonderful video, Ali! Thank you so much for posting it and I cannot wait for the upcoming videos in May! I loved how you kept the "struggling" parts of gluing, I think it is so important and it defiantly teaches me a lot about that hinged technique inside the Traveler's Notebook system, I've never used it before. I LOVEEEEEEEEEE how you add photos and journaling into the notebook, it makes the entire notebook so interesting and fun! Thank you for sharing! // Reut from Israel

Thanks so much for sharing this, Ali. I'm waiting impatiently to be able to even start to prep our backyard garden this year. We've had a few nights with FREEZE warnings here in NE Ohio. Had to put a couple hanging pots into the garage & I'm hoping for the best on the lilacs & dogwood that are late to bloom because of our terribly cold spring. I'll just have to live the garden life vicariously through you. At least things are finally starting to get GREEN!

I love this so much I find myself wishing I had flowers so I could do this exact project. I have over an acre of land and absolutely no landscaping. It's one of the main things I want to do for our home. The vellum pocket is the best thing you've done yet! Love this so much!

Prior to planting, you should take pictures of the blank spaces in your yard so you have before and after pics. I'm going to be doing this as I need to overhaul part of my garden space, and I want to remember what an improvement the overhaul will be.

If your vellum is likely to crack you can sew a piece of acetate to the edge instead and fold that over. Like the cardstock trick you do.

The notebook looks awesome. How do you store them? Do keep them inside an album?
@AliEdwardsDesignInc2 жыл бұрын
I keep them in a wood box here in my office. I'll try to include that in an upcoming video.

Great video! May I ask what pen you are using?
@AliEdwardsDesignInc2 жыл бұрын
Hi! Are you talking about the pen with the heart on the end or the black pen? The black pen I use at the beginning is a Uniball Vision Elite and the pen with a heart on it is included with the Write Story Kit this month (there's a supply list included in the description portion of this video).

I had posted a comment but I guess it was deleted because I put a link. I was suggesting an adhesive eraser Ali, they have them at the store where you got your adhesives ;) Beautiful layouts, thank you for sharing !
