There are two sci-fi horror movies that are my most favorite out of every other horror movie 1 The Thing (1982) directed by John Carpenter. 2 Alien (1979) directed by Ridley Scott. They are both my favorite sci-fi horror movies and I consider the both of them the greatest sci-fi horror movies ever created as well:).

@@troyandrew6154 there's a reason I said I wish it had ended with the first film. I absolutely hated Aliens! (Gasps in the audience) I understand that it's beloved by so many people, but I really don't care. Aliens is horrible and I can't stand it when someone says they prefer it over the original! I agree with Gene Siskel when he said it's a "wall to wall the monsters are on the attack". The first film almost made me cry, because it was so terrifying. Aliens is just boring '80s action fluff that completely takes away the fear for me. None of the new characters are interesting in the very least. They're just there to get killed and up the body count. I don't even remember the little girl's name. I just call her "plot point girl", because that's literally all she is! And at this point, I'm wishing that Ridley Scott ended the first movie with his original ending: where Ripley gets killed and the alien mimics her voice. It could have saved us from a completely unnecessary franchise that does absolutely nothing, but take suspenseful bone chilling horror and turns it into '80s action fluff. Sorry, not sorry.

That alien parasite wanted a ride to Earth. If Ripley hadn't killed it, it would have reached Earth anyway.

The film is actually perfect. But in the final you see far too much of the Alien. In the end, unfortunately, it's just a man in a rubber suit.

1.47. I hate this scene. It's like death. It's just a movie and hibernation. He sleeps sweetly. Little angel. In her white dress. But it still has the image of death. I want Sigourney to live forever.
