His band is the reason I got into music. Being 9 years old and seeing a band from your hometown on TRL had a lasting impression. I never considered them nu-metal by any means. They’re a hodgepodge of a lot of genres, it’s what makes them great. Saw them in 2018 and they used one of my photos for their instagram.
