an alien auditor named Zorgax arrives on Earth to inspect the humans' latest technological advancements, ensuring they comply with a treaty prohibiting the development of new weapons. As Zorgax tours the Global Institute of Advanced Technology (GIAT) with lead scientist Dr. Eliza Hoffman, he discovers the revolutionary Prometheus X-1 spacecraft and its Quantum Flux Drive, capable of traversing the galaxy at impossible speeds. Torn between his duty to report potential threats and his growing admiration for human ingenuity, Zorgax must navigate the complexities of human innovation and its implications for the galactic community.

Ahh, Zorgax is at it again. The guy appears everywhere when you least expect it. I'm inclined to believe that 99% of the aliens in the galaxy are named Zorgax.

They didn't weaponize the Prometheus X-1, they had actually taken the engines from the new missile & decided it'd be cool to put 2 of them on a ship to see what it could do. The humans were just glad Zorgax didn't look in the "closet" to see the weapons research department entrance.

The ending needed a twist of some sort...instead of this "for the good of the galaxy" stuff, comedic or even evil turn would have been more interesting.

I first thought some well-meaning tech in the docking bay had upgraded his ship while he was doing the inspection, or something similar.

Basically the humans are about to level up to a Type II civilization on the Kardashev scale while the others are still struggling to make Type I.

My take "The auditor sighed. Dr Hoffman your intentions all well and good as they are won't matter if a hostile power breaks in here steals your invention and they weaponize it. "

I'm not the writer, but respectfully, if the goal of your comment was to suggest constructive criticism worded in a way to encourage the writer to consider your words and make changes, I need to tell you that not only does directly insulting the writer NOT have the desired effect, but it also usually has the effect of causing you to be immediately ignored.
