This is the best game based on Aliens universe ever made without a doubt. The amount of effort and love that went into putting it together is truly unbelievable. Worth every penny I spent. I've replayed it twice already and I'm on my third time (got a new 49" 32:9 monitor, this game looks even more incredibly immersive on it, only these scenes are 16:9, the game play takes up all the screen space).

very well made. isolation did always have a strong screen play. even if you'd mostly see it in first person when you play, you can still feel it. the scenes are so good voice coriografed to just take one example amongst many! Isolation are the perfect set for the alien/aliens expanded universe, just aswell as for a big screen movie

There's also an Audible Book adaptation of the game coming out. It will have all the original sound effects and I assume music as well from the game. On top of that, there's an Audible Book version of the original script/concept for Alien 3 coming out. They got Michael Biehn and Lance Henriksen to voice their characters. The comic book adaptation is already out.

Best game EVER, it really really is, its a masterpiece and i keep going bk to it again and again and again. Im dying for another game like it, it doesnt even have to be a 'sequel and continue any story, just more of the same, maybe different lvls and outcomes and settings and such so its still new but in the same universe. We will play it and lvoe it trust me, if its same quality as Isolation!

Jesus, the new added animations that are ment to replace the parts you'd be playing in the game are extremely poorly done, you can easily tell which parts are new and which parts were actually made by the original development team for the game 5 years ago. The new animated scenes look like they're unfinished or made someone who just recently got the hang of animating and made this.

My idea for an alien tv-series is as follows: It takes places just before the events in the first alien movie and happens on a planet near where the nostromo spaceship is shipping ore.Weyland-Yutani is on the planet and have terraformed it for years,when they discovers a cave with lots of xenomorph eggs. One of them get's infected and a xenomorph is born.It turns out to be a queen,and a lot of the Weyland-Yutani humans are infected and then a war breaks out.All the humans on the planet are wiped out and only a few manage to escape in a spaceship.Then they nuke the planet from orbit. Then Weyland-Yutani regrets the decision and a hunt for the xenomorph begins.They get a tip that there's a crashed spaceship on lv426 and sends the robot ash on the Nostromo spaceship.But they are informed that the mission has failed and that Nostromo has gone missing.Then Weyland-Yutani get's a tip about an xenomorph on Fiorina161 and sends a team of researchers there.They finds a surviving prisoner that is impreagnated and a queen is born. Weyland-Yutani then wants to use the xenomorphs on the planets where the engineers are located because they want the technology to seed planets with life. They also want the elixir that provides humans with prolongued life.

the thing with the facial animation does look weird, but i know why. the cutscenes are pre rendered. but everything else is real time gameplay. which is always animated worse. you see it in games like GTA V for example, where the cutscenes are amazing, but then when the characters are having a conversation in a car for example, its like watching puppets, because that's basically what they are. as for why amanda looks the weirdest, that's because during the game, she never actually had a physical body, and i guess this is the best they could come up with when they added one. which kinda sucks that this is the best they can do, especially as i've seen it done with skyrim, where the main character is given audible dialogue and lip sync and it looks amazing. it was done by a fan called YongYea, and the video is called Dragonborne. if you havent seen it, and you know the story of skyrim i highly recommend it, he put a hell of a lot of work into it, doing basically the same thing thats been done here with alien....just a thousand times better, n fact here, i'll post a link to the vid, but partway through so you can see what i mean about the main characters animation. i'll do it from after the first dragon attack, but if you go back and watch from where you make your character just before the headsman's block, you see things you don't see but only hear during gameplay. anyway, it shows what facial animation is like with real time graphics, and as old as skyrim is , it still looks better than this real time alien facial animation. Btw, the first guy that talks from the time index i started it from, is the main character that you play who has no audible lines in the game, but yong recorded the lines you would usually have to read for your character and added the audio to the character himself. they should have hired him for this alien video. he could have done a better job kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6qri6GVo6hmocU

For the most part these are just cutscenes from Alien Isolation game that came out in 2014. Although, I think they also added new scenes themselves because I don't remember some of these being in the game. Also, some of them also look weird as if the added scenes were done by a college kid in training. Was a fucking great game though. *Edit* I see what they did now, the scenes that they redid aren't actually cutscenes from the game. They just made cutscenes out of gameplay scenes because in the game, there is no cutscene of Amanda and Ripley talking, you just walking into the room, you and and Rebecca speak, meanwhile you can do whatever you want while listening. Those scenes are poorly redone. The actual cutscenes are great.

Short of ever hoping to see Fox provide a budget and revive the old talented and passionate taskforce for a proper sequel that the game fully deserves (at least in the foreseeable future), I'm guessing its a tribute of sorts. There is an obvious hint at canonization or at least an effort to provide a wider audience with the premise of the game that quite went predictably mostly unnoticed beyond the gamers' eyes. Still better than nothing, don't you think guys ? I'm no fan of how this business works with regards to game iteration, but this could bring up some hope of stuff eventually making their way back into our consoles and PCs... who knows.
