Think of it like this: if you were looking for something and you ask someone else where it is, but the only thing they tell you is which room it’s in, but not where it is in the room. The Alien AI Works like that it knows which room you’re in, but not where you are in the room.

@@Keitto191 Ah ok so it's kinda like Malo from Amnesia Justine. For context Malo is one of the main enemies in the DLC known as a "Suitor" a trio of men who were lovers to the DLC's titular antagonist only to be tortured and mutilated into monsters. With Malo specifically when the player encounters him it's a time chase sequence where you're meant to try and get out of this chamber that's flooded with water and decide on whether or not you'll save a policeman who is kept as hostage or let Malo kill and eat him him to buy yourself time but he always seems to know where you are even if you're hiding and if you go into a different room his patrol pattern will instantly change to whatever room you're in.

What amazes me the most personally is the fact that the Game Dev studio, Creative Assembly, starting from the 2000's was known mostly from their strategy game titles (the Total War franchise) and then outta the blue decide to make a full blown 1st person horror game set with within the ALIEN universe, with a license to boot! Too bad it seems to have been just one random lucky star in their otherwise strategy-dominated repertoire.

It really is a brilliant game! Certainly helped fill the Alien shaped void left inside my soul 😂 I'm not sure about you but I can't help but feel every Alien film after the second movie seemed to be missing the distinct style of Sci-fi Horror, which for me made the first 2 instalments so great. Alien Isolation was the first instance of something new to come from the Alien universe that emanated a feeling similar to the original movies. I just hope someone makes a follow up to AI utilising softwares such as Unreal Engine 5! Oh damn! surely there must be an "ultimate badass" trophy after reaching 100%? 😂

Simple really; your brain has adapted to, and learned the noises associated with this game. Alien Isolation requires you to think and use the left part of your brain, so when hearing these noises outside the game, your brain still turns on those problem solving parts of you. It's classical conditioning- your body recognized stimuli and responded to it in the only way it knew how

My idea for an Alien5 movie is as follows: It takes place after alien4 and takes places on an earth in ruins. TheRipleyClone has transformed into an entity that is producing eggs,and a lot of humans are affected,and a war breaks out.They have to use a nuke on the swarms of xenomorphs and decidedes to travel to the planet where they think the xenomorphs orginate from.There they find there are multiple forms of xenomorphs.They manages to form a clone of a xenomorph that is able to communicate with the the help of a microship surgerized into its brain. After this a peace is established. But as allways Weyland-Yutani has spies that want the xenomorph for their biological weapon program. And it is a surprice who the spy is. And that Weyland-Yutami has a lab on a spacestation not far from the xenomorph planet. Where they finds forms of xenomorphs that noone has seen before. And that's makes a cliffhanger for a possible Alien6 movie ?
