I should look over my Blade Runner books, but I would think that would be a bit more difficult to do solo, just due to the themes of it, and wouldn’t think it’d be a very combat heavy game.

@slaapliedje Free League will be releasing some solo rules for Blade Runner when the next expansion drops. It was part of the kickstarter for it. Even if it’s kickstarters only you know it will be out in the wilds soon enough. And I say that as a kickstarter who kicked only for the solo rules 😁

Another excellent start to a campaign. When you said familiar crew, I thought you were going to resurrect Cap’n Jack and co. as sci fi characters but the Red Dwarf crew fits perfectly; well apart from Rimmer. I hear he’s a real smeg-head! I’m very keen to see how this plays out. 😃

Well they quite drift from the comedic Red Dwarf crew as quite quickly I work out that doesn't fit the genre but it was a good plan :D

@@HollowPondsSoloSagas Yes, that was bound to happen, given the genre of Alien, but using the RD crew is an excellent way to hook yourself as a solo player into the campaign. I look forward to seeing how it goes.

Week after next T2K will return and I’ll be doing Blade Runner when the solo rules get released (I backed them so will play them as soon as I can) and I get the Blade Runner base game which I missed the sale of as I was still recovering financially from returning home to Europe 😁 executive summary: watch this space lol

@@HollowPondsSoloSagas I backed the Replicant KS too. I've enjoyed the system so far but haven't had much of a chance to play. I backed a fair number of nostalgia based KS games which I need to find time to play including Terminator. I look forward to this next session and the return!

@bruceford6133 yes. I feel that story isn’t finished and I’ve been thinking about the direction and I think we have enough leads from series one to maybe if the dice fall well take it somewhere interesting BUT out of TWD cannon. More into the Arisen series of books if you know them?

And it´s a bit strange that the character sheet has no place to note down money. I use the backside of the sheets. Two rows; one for the money on the card and one row for physical cash :)

Your playlist is all out of whack you need to organize with oldest at the top and newest at the bottom so it plays in the right order. Right now they are all over the place.

@@HollowPondsSoloSagas Yep. Should be a setting to add new videos to the bottom instead. It looks like you already cleaned some of it up. Before the order was 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 7, 10, 8, 11, 1, 2. Now just 11 is at the top.

Hello. Which bit? It falls between twilight 2000 and TWD. It abstracts less but is no more complex then the other year zero systems.

Aliens RPG is by far one of the easiest RPG’S to get into. The rules are very light and when you get into it, it’s super fast. Although whenever you run a solo play campaign does get hard to keep track of everything. But simply you have 8 films to draw from along with 20 or so novels. So there’s plenty to do and with all the world and mission tables they give you. You can have missions that last an hour or a world management game that lasts you weeks. There’s so much versatility!

Agree 100% and combat flows like a film and just demands graphic descriptions.
