It didn’t seem you tried to TWIST the picture frame off the wall as specified for removal. You tried to PULL it off.

I bought a roll of Alien tape to hang a 19" flat TV in my motorhome. Granted the TV is pretty light, but the tape holds it to the metal mount I made and then holds the mount to the wall without drilling any holes and trying to locate a stud. I haven't had any issues with it not holding, although I did attach a safety wire to it, just in case. Hope that helps.

Please be careful if your putting something on your walls using Alien Tape. I used Alien Tape to hang something and now I can't get the item off because the tape is bonded to the item and to the wall. I know if I remove it I need to be prepared to fix and repaint my wall.

Hey Claudia, my name is Mark. I am also interested in Alien Tape so I watched your review and thank you for the great review. I too was interested in the rinse and repeat option, so I went back to the commercial, and in one instance, he does say "rinse and let dry, then reuse". If you blinked, you might have missed it, so I couldn't blame you if you did miss it. Just thought you would like to know.

I wouldn't leave that mirror or picture hanging with that stuff. Others who have done more thorough tests have shown it will rip off the wall with just a few pounds after a very short time.

Supposed to twist motion to remove. But boy, its hard to remove frames. The tape will remain stuck on drywall. Need hairdryer, scraper and wd40 to remove and clean it from walls.

The bowls didn’t stick because the first one was not leveled at the bottom, the second one you didn’t peel of the top layer of the tape for it to stick. I think it’s working well I’m going to buy it.

I absolutely love alien tape. My bedroom is just about all mirrors. 12 by 12s . The whole purpose was to buy something that kept them up but hid any hangers. And they did just that. Make sure you place your items where you want them. Cause boy oh boy it’s hard to get these mirror off to redo them. But that’s way it love the product because they are still up and not giving in lol

I purchased Alien Tape more than a year ago and I tried it on my kitchen wall to hang a paper towel holder and it DID pull the paint AND plaster off. I also used it on my stainless steel refrigerator to stick some framed family photos and it will NOT come off!! I tried watering it off, I tried twisting it off and nothing has worked! I'm afraid to try something like prying it off for fear of scratching my refrigerator. I guess it's a good product if you want to stick something permanently....It sucks!

I used this on a wall and it ripped the paint off when removing. The “twist” thing does not work

Use smaller pieces. A little square in the top 2 corners is plenty. The larger the piece, the stronger it sticks.

Thanks for the review. My main purpose is hanging pictures, as well as heavier objects on walls. I wanted something easy to remove so this isn't it. Also, I don't like that the directions are different in the package.

it’s a bad tape and it peels off paint and more so if you use this under the carpet and will ruin and peel the bottom carpet layer or wall paint and stuff if you leave the tape on for long which is not good

this tape does not work try putting a shelf in the bathroom and about two hours wait till you hear the crash and all your things are smashed you are not telling the truth

In an apartment I would rather fix a small nail hole rather than having to paint a wall. It only takes 10 seconds to put a little spackle in a nail hole...how long does it take to paint a wall after the tape removes the paint from the wall. After watch several reviews...I would have to give it one start out of five...maybe less...this tape is not cheap and should do exactly what the info commercial says. Seems like everything on As Seen On TV does not work as described. I have been fooled several times with the products promoted.

Just like you said, I used to to hang am item on my wall. Now I'll have to either break the item to come off and be prepared to fix the wall along with repainting it. Ughhhhh!!!...It hold tooo well.
