well depending how much those springs could absorb, id say they can jump the first half of the stairs and the leap over the railing using the remaining momentum. then depending how experienced u are land perfectly, or lose balance and bend ur knee the wrong way

Well those boots are actually designed for space cadets so they get used to anti-gravity, but yes Valve did put those boots in portal as well.

This would be a nice Mechanism to make someone cosplay as a Sangheili, the huge Guys from Halo who also get called Elites. Since their Leg-Mechanism is a Lot like a Human would move on Stilts. And it also makes the Cosplayer more able to reach/fake the full Height of an Sangheili, who can reach about 2,50 Meters of Size. : 3
