It was never a stand alone franchise. AVP has always been part of both the Alien, and Predator timelines. The AVP movies are just set in an earlier time than the alien movies.

@USMCarter No. Its always been a part of both the alien and predator timelines. The alien film universe is shared, and they actually reference avp in later films, and The mask designs, Shurikens, and Alien tail Spear in The predator (2018) are all references to AVP. Where AVP sits in the timelines is vague, but it's referenced multiple times in both the Alien and Predator movies.

Before Rebooting The AVP Saga, Disney needs to show Yaujtia Prime First and The Complete backstory of The Predators, The Xenomorphs are already set in stone,it the Predators turn,why is this ignored,show both sides and how they train and how they are raised and then show the VS just my opinion

That's because Paramount owns the rights and they're just as big a company as Disney so they have no reason to sell. Guaranteed though, if paramount ever started to lose a lot of money and was in need, they probably would sell rights to something like Star Trek to save the company.

Expand the lore of AVP. Make Predators Battle Junkies again. Show Predators kill top Xenomorphs on Xenomorph filled planets. If humans are needed, show how they discover Predators killing thousands of Xenomorphs as a flex of their best warriors.
