This video (along with all the others) was really helpful. I'm trying to make a xenomorph/ star wars storm troopers montage and they are the perfect size. Plus I have a queen from the first AVP movie and she is the right size too. :)

Something that kinda bugs me, the soldier which is suppose to look like the Aliens Xenomorph gets a smooth head and the lurker which suppose to look like the big chap gets those bumps on top of the head, why?

It's not shading son. Shading is in the recesses and on parts that aren't directly exposed to a light source. A shade is always darker than the predominant color on the piece to add visual depth. What we're looking at here is a tan highlight. Also used to add depth, but on the opposite side of the spectrum. Aside from that nerdy nitpick, great review as always dude.
