I think this is tragic in it's own way. Imagine you make a friend, and you're not ready to share your secret but they somehow find out and you wipe their memory, and subsequently, the friendship. You try again, and again and again in an endless loop to try and salvage a friendship that you know is doomed because they keep finding out your secret that you're not ready to tell yet.

I actually LOVE playing as an alien. I used to have a mod that got rid of the glow so it was harder to detect you as an alien, but it got outdated and never updated. I even have spaceships from Star Trek on the gallery. LMAO!

I literally made a sims alien this morning and she’s came to Earth to prove to her family that she can marry a rich human and live a life of luxury even without an alien disguise. Personally, I don’t see the point of having a sims alien if I’m gonna just keep the disguise on all the time or forget to put the disguise back on. Keeping the disguise on is just playing with a human sim.

i feel like it would be an improvement if they replaced one of the alien's needs with a 'disguise' meter, so you're always watching that you don't accidentally de-cloak in public and ruin your reputation, make certain common actions drain it faster like if you get wet or dirty.

I wish they'd do an update to aliens and mermaids to bring them more in line with other occults, especially since I believe both do have SOME unique abilities. But I still fricken love the aliens!! The disguise element is GREAT (although I also wish they'd update it to also work like the alt form for werewolves and vampipres where you CAN link it if you want to, but don't have to, ya know?)

One of my favorite sim rn is an alien (he was born from my hero of Strangerville who got abducted). They're trying to fill up a museum (every collections from the packs I own), I found it cute that he started gathering every little things laying around, looking for "human trinkets", and it led to the museum thing (his father had a room serving as a memorial from defeating the Mother, so I expended on it, so collecting runs in the family)

I mean in Sims 2 Aliens were just green sims and I loved them, but you just had to pretend the world was fine with green folks strolling around. Just having the power of disguise in sims 4 allows me to play out more interesting internal journeys. I enjoy my Sims 4 aliens. :)

I play with various aliens in my save file. One of them is obsessed with human culture and is studying history in Britechester; his dream is keeping living on Earth and be a great politician as a secret identity. Another one came to meet his nephew (because one of my sims had been pregnant because of an abduction and grow his alien child on Earth). This one lives in San Myshuno now and manages a "exotical food" (straing alien food) restaurant. I like aliens so much and I enjoy playing with thems and mermaids although they do not have a power panel.

I have a very dark occult work and will put a trigger warning now for violence and SA. I just like making gritty worlds. Anyway, so all the occults act very different from humans in lots of ways. The aliens are just completely detached and spend most of their time researching, exploring space, and abducting and experimenting on sims. I had this household of 3 aliens who would kidnap teenage girls (easier to grab) for their breeding projects. Each child they would have would be sent away to a testing facility where they would be raised and experimented on further. There was one alien in particular that started having a fondness towards one of the girls and was extremely cruel towards another. Over time, the girl he was extremely cruel towards (Ethne) would end up learning how to speak Sixami (alien language). This alien (K’rilin) started coming around to talk to her more and warmed up to her. Another alien in the house ends up selling her to Cahill (who is a s** trafficker) and he abuses her and sells her into prostitution. She works to pay off her “freedom” debt and K’rilin is pissed that she was sold. He starts coming around to take her out, get to know her, as he’s never had a chance to talk to a non-alien before. Eventually he starts gaining feelings for her and slowly learns how horrifying her situation actually is. He ends up leaving the alien group and getting a trailer in Strangerville, eventually paying off her debt for her and taking her into his trailer. They went through a lot of healing together, ended up saving her children she already had from being experimented on, and now live together. Not at all how I was expecting that game to go, but here we are. Still view their relationship as heavily problematic though.

I played as an alien once. Her name was Jade Ott, just because green jade and ott because something about the lorax... Anywho I leveled her up in the science career, she got lonely so I cloned her a sister, Jasmine, they lived together for a while Jasmine married a vampire name Jefferson Twilight and they had a baby. Later on Jade married a bartender girl and adopted her teenaged daughter. All in all it was a busy family... I was trying to go for the marry and alien without the other sim realizing achievement, but for some reason it didn't work even though Jefferson didn't know Jasmine was an alien until their first woohoo.

Once I played a troublemaker teen alien where eventually the guy that birthed her made the effort to make amends with her but his husband didn't so they ended up having to divorce over her. Not the most dramatic story but sometimes you just need to play an asshole teen that has the power to manipulate people.
