@user-gq7eq3vr6j Some old monsters like demon got changed so much that they feel new. But mostly complexity went through the roof with new keywords, ways to get more than 2 items in a hero, ways to get more than 5 heroes, and other new mechanics. Whenever you get new mechanics in a game like this, you get new dimensions to how you make your builds. So you don't find yourself relying on boring 2-piece combos like Valkerie/Barb.

Alien actually has some really interesting interactions. His damage and shield is a keyword, which means it can be copied by copycat. Copycat sides with the damage keyword do their damage twice, which means they do 2 damage to a slate. Also the damage from the damage keyword isn't reduced by Gnoll armor for some reason, which means Alien one shots gnolls

Also, as long as Hand doesn't open with his damage to all side, heavy hitter is very manageable

I’m trying to alternative generate and holy hell do some horrifying characters pop up. The highlight for me was level one barbarian that only had blanks and sides that killed him.

My second run I took the tower curse (+23 hp to huge enemies), and Lich summoned skeletons for all 43 hp instead of just their original 20. It was a little thing, but it was nice to see that we also got little things on top of the new hero color and tons of items. This looks like it is going to be a great update.

I've basically been doing nothing but 3.0 all day, and it's so amazing. I haven't been this excited to dive into a game in what feels like months. It's also crazy overwhelming, because there's so much new stuff and so many changes to existing heroes that I have a hard time keeping track. Personally, I think the new bosses are the highlight. Without spoiling too much, there's a new final boss that can pop up, and I have absolutely no idea how you beat him without finding a crazy, OP combo. It's awesome.

There's a green hero called Dice that was insane with this Inner Strength item (Dice's mechanic is that the sides are random 1-6 but Inner Strength makes them always 6 lol)

It wouldn't be a voyix video if it didn't involve adjusting the volume two minutes in. Fun thing: choose party mode with 4 housecats and 1 red hero. No reason

I had a couple "what the flapjack" moments with this new update: Seeing Juggler has traded her shield for a lego collection Ghosts nudging their intangible along by 1 pip Dying to the final boss (who was down to 1 hp) because the new spike stone fumbled away ALL my damage sides on the final turn.

Slice and Dice 3.0 is SO amazing and I am incredibly satisfied with how it turned out! I just finished a Hand stomp with Chronos using the new Urn (Enduring to ALL sides) and Dragonhide gloves to give Cantrip Reroll GROWTH. Absolutely crushed it with Roulette (with a Necromancer Book for left side replace). Absolutely phenomenal work from Tann!

Talking about boosting an enemy… I got a random item that allowed me to inflict death like Basalt. I was like oh COOL these ogres are going to kill themselves! Only to realize it gave the ogres the ability to inflict death to me and cleaved my whole team with inflict death. Party wipe. This game is amazing.

Reason to permaboost an enemy: you are in situation where Carrier damaging everyone for 1 more with the poison AOE wins you the fight. Clearing many archers, for example.

40:00 you could permaboost a fanatic so that it kills itself a turn early (which might allow you to avoid a doom or snake from the top rope)

Loving 3.0 so far, but it sucks that they didn't add a special mode with 6 characters so you can have one of each class again. I think five characters is stil definitely the 'correct' default way to play, but no one of each mode makes me a li'l sad.
