The brains of the five Zorgan splattered across the once sterile hallway as Captain Ross Tailor's plasma repeater reduced their insectoid skulls to smoldering gore. Tailor stormed forward, armored boots stomping on twitching alien limbs, stepping over the charred remains of their still-smoking, headless bodies. This was their chance to seize a Mormon ship and finally take the fight to the enemy. For four decades, the Mormons had been the terror of human-controlled space, raiding colonies, abducting innocent civilians, and striking EDF vessels with hit-and-run attacks before retreating to their hives. Despite the EDF's efforts and sacrifices, they had never landed a decisive blow.
