Liked this story. The giant humans would have other differences as well. Gestation would take longer in addition to a greater development time to maturity. Think of how long the giant animals of Earth take for gestation and maturation. Eventually, even they would reach a size limit. Their larger world would provide the superabundance they would need to live, but they would have be careful to maintain sustainability. Think about a salad for a giant human! It would need the amount of an entire garden even for a snack! Preserved specimens mean the preserved bodies of ancestors in labs. The non giant visitors would tire quickly. They'd probably need powered encounter suits so they wouldn't die of exhaustion. Glad the giant humans are gentle.
