Problems in this logic: 1. *Assumption that they essentially would be 10,000 years ahead of us* - Life formation is complex. Aliens can ramge from single cellular organisms to a completely different life structure with a very different type of "consciousness" or no consciousness. Even if they would have a similar mind to ours, they could be 10,000 years backward than us, or like animals or insects. 2. *Assumption of "alien life" is based on our definition of "life", the only sample of which is earthly beings* - If "alien life" exists, it could be fundamentally different from the nature and definition of "life" here on earth. Can we even call that "life"? How do we define "life" outside of earth, when our current sample is limited to earth? Maybe they don't eat, maybe they don't die, maybe they're like Devas, Gandharvas, Jinns or such other divine spirits with "energy bodies". Maybe they exist at a plane or dimension which we can't percieve or discover by our sense organs, which are limited to sense only 5 types of sensations. 3. *We did so much progress in 100 years, therefore 10× times more progress in 1000 years* - This goes against history. It's a fact that we transformed completed in last 200 years, but it's also a fact that the speed of technological development was almost redundant comparatively in the 2000 before that. For centuries, life was almost similar. Also, we have seen another sudden spike in technological progress in last 10-20 years, while no major change happened between 1980-2000. The "sudden" change in last few centuries happened due to complex historical factors, only some of which are known truly, including Industrial Revolution, Globalisation due to empires, sharing of knowledge accross cultures, rise of Capitaism, etc. 4. *We have either not found or not "identified" alien life yet* - We can't make a statement about the nature or state of something about which we have no first-hand information, nor are we clear about its definition.
