fun fact, wagon targeting doesn't account for travel time... or the time it takes to transfer oil into a wagon. you probably knew this to _some_ extent, but if you spill oil as much as I did, you'll eventually realize only two or three will actually go to a rig at once, even if it won't be enough to reset the overflow timer. Even if you've got wagons sitting around doing sweet FA.

Tip: if you can’t tell whether a pocket is oil or gas as a mole revealed the corner of the pocket, if you have the gas moles upgrade the pocket is an oil pocket since the gas moles upgrade will force the mole to reveal the gas itself and not the corner of the pocket.

Pretty sure the magma affects the sides of the pipe rather than going into it, so you can run a pipe in one side of the magma and out the other and still get the effect. So the more pipe in the magma, the better it works. Also, if you really want to min/max, you can have a level 3 pipe going from the drill to just outside a gas pocket, and then have it split into a level 1 pipe and a level 3 pipe going into the gas. The idea here is that you pump up the price of oil to a good point with both pipes open, and then close the level 3 pipe going into the gas so it restricts the flow of gas, using the last bit of gas to effectively hold the price of oil, which is when you sell. And when placing the pipes don't forget the pocket will grow, so keep the node where it splits a bit of a distance from the gas. And thanks for the countless hours of entertainment!

Meth (speed) was not synthesized until the very late 1800s. It was only majorly in use starting in the early days of WWII. Which it was used heavily as a stimulant for soldiers. Energy bars, drinks, powders to dissolve into your canteen, etc. From what I remember, Air Forces in particular used it and you'd be hard pressed to find any Air Force during WWII that did not provide stimulants (usually meth) for their pilots. I don't know how high the usage rates were but... I do know that veterans did tend to have some issues from it all. Anyways. No meth in the 1800s for the most part.

Oh and right before you empty a oil node, when connencted to lava, close the valve and the remaining oil will become gas and the node will expand and produce gas. Try it 😉
