Sudoku Part 1 - a massive change of pace! I normally do puzzle video games, so traditional pen and paper puzzles are out of the ordinary for this channel. How well can I perform at Sudoku?

I always end up guessing because I didn’t know pattern recognition existed. I do it while still taking note of which numbers I already had so that if it turns out to be wrong I can go back. The "magic" of Snyder Notation is that you only mark down numbers that have two possible locations in a 3x3 box. That way when one of that pair gets ruled out, you can immediately place the remaining number.

Hey Tyler! If you want some sudoku challenges, I recall the channel "Cracking The Cryptic" who sometimes showcases really advanced sudoku variants. While the videos are mostly about solving them live, you can simply take the starting state and not watch the solution. Some of those were really interesting puzzles who play on the sudoku logic, but sometimes add additional rules that make them much less straightforward to solve. You may like them, but maybe that's the kind of things found in "killer sudoky" I don't know.

For example right from the start you see that in the bottom middle square to the left of 8 is the only place you can write 2 since twos to the left and right block two top rows of this square and 2 from the square in the middle blocks the bottom right slot of yhe square.
