For the final potion for the philosopher’s stone he could’ve continued brewing on the messed up potions recipe and just got tier 1 hallucination and it would’ve knocked out the explosion since it was first in the recipe but oh well

That only would've worked if he realized before he hit "Finish Potion." But he didn't realize until after the potion was completed.

@@forgotn42 You can still do ‘Continue Brewing’ from finished potion like he did before with Tier 3 potions. He also saved the recipe which means what Envi said is possible, but oh well…

For all the stupid potions for the Philosophers Stone that used all 5 slots, I always started with an already existing strong potion and then added the other 4 effects. Although it's still a lot of grinding. Didn't have much fun creating them, especially the ones with 5 combined effects rarely make any sense. I saved all the individual recipes so I can fully automate my Philosophers Stone fabrication, but imagine how hilarious it would be if a customer came in and requested those 5-effect-potions. I couldn't imagine a prompt for most of these.

@@Therevengeforget I think the charm and berserk would cancel out, (Or the person would have extremely mixed emotions about what is happening to them lol.) the explosion and levitation would together send the peasant flying into the air, and the invisibility would make it look like the peasant just got blown out of existence. Though since the explosion is only lvl 1 I think the peasant would be alright, though maybe knocked unconscious.

A challenge editor in this game could be really neat. You would have to brew one or more potions using limited materials.

This series is a ton of fun and I enjoy playing this as a wind down game. The thing I'd love to see in future updates store decorations that provide passive buffs. Like a fancy storefront to boost haggling, black candles on the brewing station that decrease bone bamage and a compost heap for the garden. Also prompts that have weird ingredient restrictions.

a story line for this game would be phenomenal, instead of selling potions because "lol why not" it could be to pay the king's taxes or something. per day the story progresses, instead of being trapped in potion selling limbo with tonnes of riches with no benefit, maybe it could be something similar to papers please in concept with 2 sides, the monarch and an underground revolution perhaps or maybe the coven of witches, heck even a gang of avid lover of women. i know the game is in development but most stuff added like the stones and alchemy serves almost no purpose other than being "end goals". i know some alchemy is useful like void and life salt but it would be better for the game to work on the storyline first rather than other things that can be considered "miscs" (if it ever wants to add a story line of course). the game itself is pretty unique and charming but lacking, ive played it myself and to be fair it gets boring, especially with the recipe book option because why make a potion manually if you can push a button and it does that automatically? not saying the book is bad, but it kills the gameplay since you only need to push buttons, haggle for deals and sleep. playing it right now feels like a grind that isnt rewarding, it could serve the purpose of a game to kill time but i would rather play other games than this one if ever i feel it becomes boring and repetitive. a story prompt that would fit very well will be something in the lines of: "you are the only remaining potion crafter in the kingdom, the whole nation is suffering from the loss of the war with its neighboring kingdom, though usually you only make potions for your enjoyment of having them (or some reason) the king requires you to sell potions to the town since every potion seller in the town was killed during the war, should you refuse his orders then the town will lose its last potion maker. the village is hurting, the king is weak and a revolution is brewing in the corner. with your life threatened, you decided to open up shop, maybe the profit could help you buy that gaming alchemy machine that you've been wanting for a long time." TLDR: game needs something to keep each day fresh and not repetitive also something i didnt mention, the game need to have more customer prompts that requires multi-effect potions (its such a good concept to let go to waste)

Why not have requests that use the alchemy instruments that have X days to complete but give you way more money? That could make for some interesting situations.

I finished chapter 6 as well, and have been buying paper every time I could. I now have a quadrillion blank pages and it turns out there is a maximum number of pages you can fit in the book, but no limit to how much you can buy. Eventually you just won't be able to move it around 😂

honestly all the ingredients are so poetic. Every adjective before the ingredients always made sense with the potion you made, the creator really planned out the placement of the potions and the path ingredients made. You could make any potion and have he adjectives from ingredients line up with that potion

I think the monotany of having to make completely new potions over and over could have been solved if they let you reduce the efficacy of your premade potions rather than making you start from scratch. If a potion only needs level 2 of an ingredient, just muddle your level 3 recipe a little and start from there.

I would love combined potion effects to make an unique type of potion, like for example Potion of Poison I + Fire I = Weak Potion of Suffering , a potion with the effect to make anyone feel absolutely miserable, then to get a medium potion you also add Frost I, and for a Strong one you add explosion I. Or maybe Potion of Necromancy l + Potion of Charm l = Potion of Resurrection

I've got a question. Can you use potions of Fast Growth, or Rich Harvest in your own garden. Because it would be awesome if you could. I mean there has to be a reason you can take things out of the menu in that area and not the bedroom. (Unless you can? idk)
