For high levels, at least from what I've seen from the world records, It's a lot of luck on getting rosaries and not accidentally collecting them, then waiting til minute 29, pop them when your screen fills up to drop hundreds of red jems until you've used all of them, then collecting a vaccum and watching the levels just skyrocket. I imagine with curse this becomes even more insane, especially on the other maps.

I feel like next time you try this run, once you become an unkillable god, you should spend the rest of the game camping a Vacuum and grab it right at the last second

sadly wouldnt work after a point all EXP gems or whatever start to get put into one gem its why the reaper killing strat is possible

Ok, a little challenge. Use a random number generator to determine the upgrade you get. Maybe even which character you take too.

Because Thunder Loop hits the same spot twice, it loses damage whenever there are gaps in the enemies, especially gaps created by the first lightning hit. It has synergy with knockback because it keeps the holes filled. Also, it did a lot of damage that run because it had the most range/coverage. The books kept knocking enemies back into the range where only the Thunder Loop could reach them.

Also because there were so many more enemies, they kept filling the spots the first lightning cleared and getting hit by the second one.

One of the strats I've found for getting the most XP is to save an attractorb vacuum until the last 10 seconds or so, ideally with a rosary to clear the screen right before grabbing it. The last wave of enemies especially drop pretty massive amounts of XP! Also loving the frostpunk series, dying to see more!

Be more accurate. Kill with rosary at 29:56 and get the attractorb at the same time

If the rosary and attract orb are far from each other consider using the rosary but dont get attractorb any later than 29:56. U can grab rosary at 29:59 only if u have clock lancet so that u can stall the reaper and have enough time to attract all the gems

Garlic's DPS sucks, sure. But the knockback is one of the best defensive effects in the game IMO. And it's not like it does no damage. You just need to combine it with synergistic DPS weapons like death spiral, la Bora, Bible, etc. I think maybe garlic boosts the knockback of all items, too.

Yes, I think you are correct. As far as I can tell, garlic has no own knockback but greatly decreases enemies' knockback resistance which is why it has great synergy with the bible.

Honestly the knockback is nonexistent. Everytime I use garlic, I still get way too crowded and die. Garlic is just bad

@@CowKirbo Its not, if you quickly upgrade it to level 4 (iirc) there are many waves up till like 15 minutes that can be oneshot and thus greatly increases exp generation. Skeleton wave for example can be walked into.

La Borra is a fav of mine. Vandalier is fantastic, BUT the birds are too weak to make up for how long it takes+ two weapon slots early on... not to mention re-levelling it after it's fused.

New map, New items, a map item (perm unlock once found), and guaranteed item spawns on maps that have them in the next update!!! Also while Mask of Red Death replaced MissingNo he is still in the game but does *require* a save modification to unlock and honestly would love to see you try him out because of how insane it can be. Everything from might to curse gets randomized on him

My least favorite is probably knives, like if your ahead, they are okay, but a lot of the damage is often wasted, but if your struggling ok ng the last thing you want to do is move toward the enemies, or stand still xD I think the most disappointing evolution is the heavens sword though, I actually prefer the base cross more

The whip is kinda like bible, its really good if it actually hits mobs but by that time youre either dead or better off taking something else. Also the healing is actually insane if you have a high max ehp. - a whip apologizer

2:40 - Garlic's damage is insignificant, but the Knockback is a life-saver! ・It's essentially a support item ・If it hypothetically did 0 damage: It would be equally useful in many scenarios.

Picking up more Empty Tomes to push yourself past level 5 does nothing, saw it happen in a stream. It says that it gives you level 6, but it doesn't actually do anything. Taking multiple Empty Tomes past level 5 will also tell you they're putting you at 6.

Yeah i got this to happen myself. It's weird though. For longest time I thought that getting empty tomes to show up in the library was really finicky and required you to not have empty tome taken already and also to get second and third empty tome to show up you needed to have it below level 4

You can, however, not pick up empty tome until you have 6 different items and have empty tome as a 7th item. Works for stone mask too. I had 8 items in one run

I think that while you can't get any more levels on the empty tome, you CAN get empty tome after you have all your item slots filled and it'll grant you an extra slot

I've completed this a couple of times, mostly on Green Acres. Laurel is my MVP for those runs, it just keeps me alive until I get a relatively low mob density minute for me to catch up. For early game, I focus on upgrading the axe to 1-shot mobs to create a pathway for escape, then I use whip for the late game HP regeneration.

3:00 I've found that garlic is useful in the endgame as it reduces knockback resistance. It makes bats bounce halfway across the screen, but it also helps with keeping back the press at the end.

You may find it useful to know you can exceed 6 passive items if you grab a map based passive (like the empty tome)after you already have 6. On this amp it seems the empty tome/stone mask appear 4 repeats of the map to the left/right respectively from my testing.

I'm trying to make this work in Hyper mode, my theory is if I get Garlic + Spianch early enough to 1 shot enemies before maxing curse this will give enough XP to max out other weps very early, the real challenge is surviving to minute 10 so you can be carried by upgraded weapons.

Thunder Loop is probably the best crowd control in the game. Thing just blows up entire screens and does terrifying DPS. Only thing better at it is Gorgeous Moon for obvious reasons.

Tyler, did you know that the order in which you buy meta-upgrades matters? It's possible you can afford them all of you buy them in the correct order. this is because all upgrades become more expensive the more upgrades you have. Buying the expensive ones first saves you over 50 000!

Loving the series! After the first couple episodes I actually bought the game to play myself, something I rarely do for a game I watch videos on. a small suggestion, at the start of the run it might be simpler if you flash up on screen the powerup settings you have taken for that given run. You can either screenshot them ahead of time, or take it from the end of run. screen

T-loop surprisingly has an impressive crowd controlling ability! I thought you would have been best taking something like Lancet (frozen enemies deal no damage) or Water (HECK THAT AOE), but here we are, with a winning run using the Vespers to keep everything at bay and Loop for killing everything else! Spiral and Vandalier helped, too, but at that point I feel like it was just to get the stuff the Loop missed!

I've gotten multiple empty tomes- it doesn't increase past the max. I do know if you head right and get the stone mask, it'll stack on top of a full set of items.

Apparently the evolved garlic does more damage based on the amount damage you take, or it might be the amount that it heals you by. So it can be really good if used properly, or at least it isnt absolutely trash late game.

Yep, it's the same reason Runetracer always shows such big damage numbers. It's hitting things before your higher DPS but close range only weapons can, so it generates a lot of easy DPS.

Hey Aliensrock btd bqttles 2 got updated : Captain chruchill got added,Daily rewards got increase. There's casual mode : Casual mode is a game mode where you dont gain trophies,monkey money or battle points you only gain xp for your heroes and towers. Ofc there's ranked mode : Ranked is mode is a game mode you gain trophies,monkey money,battle points and heroes and monkey xp. XP needed to level up your heroes has been decreased,Heroes xp also got increased. Tier 5's xp got halfed so they cost 50% cheaper. There are 2 new maps for ZOMG Superdome and Hall of Masters : Ports and Inflection. Some bug fixes and balance changes. Empty tomes dont stack past 5, all extra tomes dont add anything because it's not coded in. However you can fetch the tome last and have it as your 7th item.

I did succeed in a run on green acres Hyper mode 130% curse (and unlike you I had to take the skull whenever I was offered it :p.) I had to die and retry a lot, and I figured there is no way around getting garlic, it's so bad and does not even one-shot weak enemies, but it helps not dying pre-minute 10.

character idea: each weapon/item level is less impactful but each weapon/item has more available upgrades. so you have a higher overall cap but it's harder to get there.

Empty tome lvl 6 did not increase your cooldown any more than lvl 5. You have -45% at lvl 58 then you collected the book and still have -45% when you hit lvl 59

Curse makes the game easier, change my mind. More enemies = more xp = faster upgrades. I had all my weapons and items maxed before the 10th minute, the first chest I opened was a fkn money bag at minute 8. It needs a rebalance.

Whenever you get a bible upgrade, it shoots out more bibles, and you rarely use it effectively lol you run around enemies or away from them lol. You should be using that time to clean up extra mobs while you have extra bibles out
