Lots of editing. He edits out most of the work solving most reasonably complex puzzles. You can usually see a cut- where subtle animations jump, the screen viewbox (based on the character’s position) jumps slightly, and Tyler’s footage jumps slightly. Looks like he also uses a 3-5 frame blend when he cuts the footage.

He actually has longer for the puzzles and cuts it together. That's no critizism, it's just how he does it. I quiet like it though, because this way the vids don't have downtime.

Lol, your dud of the day was that 3rd puzzle on the second floor.... My dud of the entire playthrough was not realizing the elevator could go to floors besides 2. I just kept solving it at 2 over and over, completely ignoring the alternate solutions or the fact that the mine central platform had multiple solutions for different utility. I honestly thought the elevator was a trap, sticking you in that second floor area until you could open the doors.

Not to mention that the candelabra illuminating the statue looks oddly like the altar at the beginning of the game... For the record, the Maps are "Fast-Travels". If at any map, you draw the pattern for a DIFFERENT map, you warp to that area. After warping TO an area once, its' pattern appears on the map for convenience. Very much hope you solve all the puzzles, the other channel that I saw play this skipped a fair few secrets. Also, you CAN open the door without completing all sections, but, you do not get the true ending for doing so.

@belian59282 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the black/white puzzles have a different rule. The initial tutorial area doesn’t teach it and most people (including me) end up brute forcing them. The good news is that they are not required for anything else in the game
@Ronin111111112 жыл бұрын
@@belian5928 Oh? Then what IS the rule?
@belian59282 жыл бұрын
@@Ronin11111111 Didn't want to respond due to spoiling for others, but been a few days so... Spoilers ahead: There is a puzzle that partially looks like this: B ? B B ? W The bottom row is unsolvable based on an easy "outline" rule. Actual rule is "fill with the color opposite the most adjacent colors." So you have to fill the top with a W before you can know the bottom is B. There are 2 problems with these Black-White puzzles: Starting area teaches you to look at environment for solutions (confusing you latter on) and it is EXTREEMLY easy to brute-force the results without knowing the rule. The benefit is that you don't HAVE to solve any of them (outside the starting area) for any achievements.
@Ronin111111112 жыл бұрын

I had such a love/hate relationship with the gallery section. Each solution is so elegant, but many of the puzzles require enough abstract deduction to be frustrating - some even _after_ you identify which rule(s) to use. Just going to give you a warning, the very first puzzle in the game actually has 2 correct answers. You might wanna figure out the second one, because that is when you can start to run into the META puzzles. Pay very close attention to all the details on the path down there, assuming you don't want to accidentally brute force the secret secondary answer to the puzzle. Also, before you beat the Gallery, go ahead and do the finishing puzzle sequence from the pool. There is 3 endings, the partial black, perfect black, and white endings. If you do finish the gallery, you can't really backtrack to do partial black ending.

Yes, I think he could miss it. Especially if he ends up taking a few weeks to think of backtracking as he plays other games to stream for content, I think he could miss it. And I don't want him to.
