I’ve purchased other 20 items from Ali and never been disappointed. Mostly tools and legos. Every Lego set came out great. As you said. Just read the reviews and details of the product. Some sets I’ll buy straight from Lego and others that are retired like this one. I’ll buy Ali. I’m not spending $300 on a Diner Lego set.

This is one of the few modulars I'm super undecided about - on it's own I absolutely adore it, but it's so aesthetically different to everything else in the modular range I think it would stick out like sore thumb in a street-style display. Now I'm thinking about it, It might just have to live on it's own like the old fishing store and the lighthouse, especially since the Chinese authorities have apparently shut down a lot of the clone-Lego factories, I'll probably just have to get it while it's still available...

My thoughts exactly. And I think LEGO thought so too, hence why it doesn't really have a bad side to look at, plus the car which differentiates it from the main line of sets further.

Hi, Thanks of your comment - it is a set I am thinking of getting once I have a spare bit of space open up. I am also looking at the bat cave aswell. Keep an eye on the channel in the near future.

@@HashtagMedia i have the 1989 Batmobile from ali, was not the best quality the bricks were a matte finish and not shiny like official Lego, but everything was there so cant really grumble, it was a couple of years ago now so maybe it was a first attempt error of something? i don't know... But part of me wants to buy another one and see if its better quality of if its meant to be that way.

Nice reviews! Been following you for a while. Would you ever be interested in building something epic like the Rivendell or Barad dur tower? I'm curious at the quality. I think the hardest part with going with AliExpress is finding display space!

Just got the Ghostbusters car and the Polaroid camera, just finished the mercedes F1 car that is a really good step up from the McLaren F1 car. Try it, it's pretty cheap

Thanks mate - yeah I have been looking at the Mercedes f1 car, but as I only have one space left on the wall in my bathroom, I am waiting for the new 1/8 technic super car that's coming out in a few weeks. I really enjoyed building the McLaren f1 car, so I will probably end up with the Mercedes too. How was the ghostbusters car build?
