Due to small packages getting lost a lot, Ali changed it so that they amalgamate small orders into one package, which I think is a great idea. I have my favourite sellers on ali that I just go to and i always check for no shipping LOL

I've just made an order on Ali Express, bought lots of stickers and washi for about £20 I think. Can't wait to see what they're like in person. I went for the dark academia vibe on most things for my reading journal (what a cliche I know) but I managed to get some washi that I've been drooling over on etsy for a quarter of the price. Whilst I prefer to support small UK businesses as much as I can my wallet said no buy on AE this one time.

I dislike the sticker boxes only because there is so much white around the print it's self. I use to cut the stickers back but it took to long so I stopped buying them. I haven't seen the Pet stickers before so I'm going to go check them out. Much better for layering. P.s. I buy of Ali all the time. It's my go to. And now they introduced fast postage on orders over $8. So the items come half the time.

That white edge bothers me sometimes too! But then sometimes the shine of the PET stickers bothers me too so it’s a trade off 😂

For the bigger stickers you could cut them up so it's just a peak of it on the page, still get to use it but it doesn't take up as much space.

Love those window frame stickers! I've bought so much over the years from Aliexpress. Yes, the tax is Australian GST (Aliexpress collect it on behalf of their sellers and have to pay it to Australia, same with most big overseas companies now) The amount of the same items from the same sellers can get overwhelming, for sure. There are a number of stores that do free shipping for orders over a certain amount so if I have a few items in my cart, I will often go to their store page directly to browse. I've bought decent amounts from MOHAMM Official Store, mr.paper Official Store, Gimue Journal Store and Gimue Stationery Store. I usually look at the number of orders and reviews if I'm worried the price is too good to be true or it looks dodgy. The refund process is generally pretty easy if your item doesn't arrive or isn't right anyway.

Your haircut is cute! I have never bought an individual tombow so I have no idea if either price is good but you got them cheaper than your local store so I say that's a win! Love the stickers especially the giant bottles I'm seeing very cute quote pages with those. The word stickers are hysterical I would definitely cut them up. 🤣

Love the haircut! I'm also scared of Aliexpress haha when they were new-ish me and my family tried ordering 1 item each from them and 2/5 got lost in the mail with no refunds or anything to be done so I've just sort of not looked at them since xD Maybe I should reconsider

Aliexpress is great once you get used to it! You can compare prices to get the cheapest, if you spend a certain amount it can give you fast and/or free shipping and shops sometimes have certain deals for items. My biggest tip is buy items with reviews! I always like looking at the photos in the reviews. And if you’re buying an item that’s more expensive, I like to message the seller to check they communicate. Glad to see another aussie bullet journaler! If you have any physical stores you like going to let me know! Best ones are daiso and kinokuniya for me, otherwise I used aliexpress or notebook therapy for a bujo Much love🫶🫶

Sometimes aliexpress is a reseller of taobao which is a chinese version of aliexpress and is really cheap

Well u might have to convert the currencies but most stationery isn’t over 15 Australian dollars but I dunno I only had a couple glimpses at Taobao when my sister uses it :3

sometimes, you can't get exactly what you want they say "random paper or random stickers" Also,the spelling is sometimes incorrect or the translation is off on printed material. Shipping to America takes a long time as well. I don't order anything I want right away. These are just some things to keep in mind when using AliExpress.
