It's disgusting how many Sunnis have come here only to comment about us Shia being the "wrong" ones. You don't need to follow us or believe in what we believe in but at least have some respect for the prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) grandson who sacrificed himself for not just us Muslims, but for everyone on this earth to show us that we should never let anyone oppress us or anybody else for that matter. We are talking about a man who fought a tyrant, who's infant was killed in his own hand, who's half brother got murdered for trying to bring water for their family, who's son went out to fight only to never return, who's sister, daughters, son, women and children were made to walk from Karbala in Iraq to Syria in the middle of the desert where the heat was unbearable and who's 3 years old daughter died from seeing his severed head. Instead of arguing in the comment's section learn to respect others and be nice. And Allah (SWT) will be the judge between us when the time comes.

Hussain sacrificed for mankind. he achieved victory while being oppressed. he lost his entire family, including his baby son who died in his arms after asking for water so he can drink. he is referred to being the closest thing to Muhammed EVER. he is mentioned in both the Quran and the bible for being the one who stood alone against hate, tyranny, and oppression. ......yet sunnis hate him for dying for Islam. Muhammed even said "those who hate Hussain hate me, those who war with Hussain war with me, and those who war with me war with Allah!" yet you sunnis call Shia Muslims kufar and the wrong ones. shame to see even Muhammed can't even change the hate in some hearts. Shia Muslims are the only people out there in the middle east sacrificing their lives just so Christians and Muslims can live equal. Shia Muslims are out there fighting against oppression because OUR leader Hussain taught us to never give in to oppression and help others who are being oppressed. yet you sunnis call Shia false? shame on you, honestly shame shame shame on you!!

Mashallah the brother is doing a good thing by writing these elegies (not songs), and my prayers are with him for every success in his life... however, it needs to be said that when a Mo'min does something good for the Ummah, it has to be shared in order to flourish. I'm sure the brother has an income which provides his Rizq. This type of recitation is not for commercial gain, but for spiritual gain and a reward in the hereafter, so our dear brother should reconsider such a disclaimer, imho.
