The Arbaeen is the biggest annual peace walk in human history. People come from across the globe to walk 80km from Najaf to Karbala in Iraq to commemorate the Martyrdom Anniversary of Prophet Muhammed’s (pbuh) grandson- Imam Hussain a.s.
This year's number of visitors-
21,198,640.
I decided to Vlog my journey with two friends to share our experiences.

Ohhh, thank you so much for posting this! I did my first Arbaeen walk this year, from Najaf to Karbala. I’m over 50, female and very unfit….. And I managed it, without any blisters , and completed it in 3 days! To be honest, quite a lot of the walking bit is a blurr….. There were times I didn’t think I’d ever make it, particularly after taking a short break, when my legs would just seize up….. But I kept talking to Allah (swt), and He brought me to Imam Hussain( as)………. Honestly, everyone, just book your flights early for next year, and just get on that plane. You will not regret it….. It was an absolutely beautiful, amazing, very spiritual experience. Very tough, but that makes it all the more spiritual. And being at the shrine of Imam Hussain (as)…… I have no words for that. By the way, thanks for mentioning the ice lollies! ….And one other thing, nobody needs worry about accommodation, when there…..If you don’t have anybody you can stay with, nor can afford a hotel, you’ll most definitely find places literally everywhere where you can sleep, shower, wash and dry your clothes etc, all for free. So everyone, please just turn up next year….. Even if you aren’t Shia, or even a Muslim. This walk is for the whole of humanity.

Arbaeen walk is not difficult for girls either. Its the best and most beautiful walk on earth. I have done 3 times with all the facilities given by beautiful people of Iraqis❤😊 their hospitality towards zawar e Hussainع is amazing. I am dying for this spiritual walk.😭 May my master call me again😭😭

I don't believe this year was 21M visitors because in 2019 during the pandemic the total visitors in the Arbaaein were 18-19millions!! So this year since ppl started coming to Karbala like 10 days before the Arbaeein, so based on what I've seen I think the right number must be at least +40M
