So if I have a DX8 and a GPro, do I need a receiver or will a dsm2 satellite work on its own?

I am having mega issues with this g pro can't get to stay bound and when I go through the settings on the software input from tx does nothing on my hello like my dx61 is not bound pulling my hair out need help thanks Carl
